With over 15 years of experience, we’ve developed a process that’s designed to serve each client’s unique needs and add value at every stage of a project. Our process is rooted in creating quality results that enhance functionality, aesthetics, and long-term value to our clients.
The Habanero Approach:
01 | Preliminary Data Collection
To be better prepared for our first meeting, we will ask you to fill-out our new application form. We will distill all preliminary basic data about your property and your vision. within 24 hours we will schedule your complimentary 30-minute design consultation.
02 | Discovery Meeting & Work Plan
We meet for a 30-Minute design consultation and evaluate your project's requirements and aspirations. Think of this step as a doctor's diagnosis consultation. In order to determine a work plan, firs we need to talk about what are we going to be solving through our design.
03 | Schematic Design
The fun begins. During this step, we will explore design options and iterations. ​The goal of this phase is to find a design concept that resonates with your vision and take it to reality in the next phase.
04 | Construction Documents
During this step we transform the concept explored in the previous phase and transform it into technical information. The construction documents consist of drawings and specifications. These will serve as the project manual for the builder and permit drawing set for the jurisdiction in charge of reviewing the local codes.
05 | Construction
During construction administration, the architect serves as the owner’s representative, ensuring that the contractor’s work aligns with the design intent, drawings, and specifications. The architect reviews submittals, responds to requests for information, conducts site visits, and addresses issues in the field to help maintain quality, budget, and schedule
